Funny face, I love you!

I got a new camera for my birthday, mainly so I can take better pictures of Katherine. I cannot say that I am achieving that goal yet. There are so many buttons and functions, it will take awhile to figure it all out.

I did try to take photos of Katherine to play with it today. She was making a lot of funny faces and I was shooting them so fast that I was getting everything. Here are some of the funny faces.

A big hug

A big hug

Today I watched Cole while his mom had an appointment. He is such a cute and sweet kid. He loves Katherine. Every time we get together, he gives her hugs and kisses. It is so cute. Today she reached out to put her arm around his shoulder too. We are going to have to watch out for these two.

Who needs toys?

I love to play with paper!

I love to play with paper!

We spent our Labor Day holiday laboring on our rent house. Our renters moved out last week. We were very lucky to have great renters for the last three years, but there are still plenty of things we need to do to the house to get it ready to rent or sell.

We were only out there for the afternoon, but by the looks of the car and all we were taking out there, we were going on a long trip. We took all kinds of tools and supplies to fix the place up. We also packed a bunch of stuff to entertain Katherine. We took her exersaucer and a blanket with a big bag of toys.

I don’t know why we bothered taking the toys because Katherine decided that she was more interested in all of our tools and supplies. She can’t really crawl, but it was amazing to see her scoot over to the can of paint when she wanted to check it out. Her favorite thing to play with was the paper that we use to mask off the windows and doors. She had a lot of fun crinkling the paper until she rolled over with it and got tangled.
