I love my daddy!
My Daddy Pillow
My daddy is so comfortable. I love to take a nap on his chest. See how comfortable I am.

Me and Santa
Nana and Mommy took me shopping today. We were looking for stuff to redo the bathroom - pretty boring. Then we saw the Christmas decorations. Wow! They are so pretty. I found a Santa that was just my size. I can’t wait for Christmas.
My first Thanksgiving feast
Today I celebrated my first Thanksgiving. My Uncle Will and Aunt Jaime came all the way from California to see me. We had to celebrate early because they could not come here next weekend for the actual holiday. Mom bought me special baby food. I had a chicken and sweet potato dinner and pumpkin pie dessert. Don’t worry, it was organic babyfood made of pumpkin with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. It was yummy.
I have a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family, my puppy, my toys and my friends. I am a very lucky little girl.
I love my puppy Hooligan. I have somuch fun watching her around the house. Sometimes it frustrates mommy because I would rather watch Hooligan than eat.

When I am in my exersaucer, she will walk around me and try to lick my face. It tickles, but I don’t really like it.

I am crawling on the floor now and I try to crawl to Hooligan to pet her. Either she will try to come lick me or mom will pick me up before I get there. I really like to pet her. She is so soft.
This blog is dedicated to my Uncle Will who despises peas. He has a great story about upperclassmen at the Air Force Academy making him finish off a whole plate of peas.
Yesterday dad fed me peas for the first time mixed with rice cereal. I really liked it. Uncle Will, pease are not so bad. Mom fed me more today. I am doing better on my eating. Today I ate a whole bowl of peas and rice cereal, a third of a jar of banana baby food and about 2 tablespoons of fresh avacado from El Fenix (I ordered off the menu for the first time).
Mom has a new trick to get me to eat. Since we think I may be teething, I like to chew on the tray of my high chair. When I look up, my mouth is open and she gets a quick spoonful in. Mom is so tricky.
Looks so good!
Mom wrote a blog about how I do not really like my baby food yet. Now who can blame me, have you seen that stuff. Afterall, she mixes rice cereal, sweet potatoes and avacado all together.
I am pretty smart and I see mommy and daddy eating some other food that looks pretty good. Tonight when we were working on the rental house in Rowlett, they ate bbq sandwiches from Dickey’s. I was fussy so daddy was holding me on his lap. What a golden opportunity. I kept reading for the sandwich and even managed to touch it a few times, but he would not let me put it in my mouth. Darn it!
I guess for now I will have to get better at baby food so that I can move on to better things like bbq.
I love my rattle
My Grandad is very talented. He likes to turn wood on a lathe. He makes all
kinds of neat things like bowls, plates, chair legs, pens, you name it, if it
can be turned on a lathe, he likes to make it. When we were in Wichita Falls
for July 4th, he made me a rattle. What is amazing is that the rattle is a cylinder with two rings around it and it was all one piece of wood. I don’t know how he did it. You can see that I really like to chew on it. You know who else would like to chew on my rattle - Hooligan. I have to make sure that it stays off the floor (Hooligan’s territory) because Hooligan likes to chew wood and she already has her teeth.
My cousin Scooter Skeeters
I am so excited. We just found out that Uncle Will and Aunt Jaime are expecting their first baby February 17th. Mom told Uncle Will that I needed a cousin within a year and they are just barely going to make their deadline. I can’t wait to have a cousin in California to visit. We will have so much fun. They are calling the baby “Scooter” for now like mom and dad called me “Pip”.
Hopefully they will start a blog soon so we can all monitor Scooter’s progress.
Chillin' at the concert
Tonight we spent another night at the Arbo (Dallas Arboretum). Mom and dad decided to go to the Cool Thursdays concert to hear a Jimmy Buffet cover band. We got there right as it started but still found a perfect place to set up our blanket in the shade. Mom and dad ate dinner while I took a nap. It was just so relaxing! After I woke up, I watched the concert and listened to the music. I hope we go to some more fun concerts at the Arboretum!
Ten little piggies!
Today I found my toes. It is so exciting. To think, these fun things were there, attached to me all along. Now that I have found my toes and can roll over, it makes diaper change time so much more fun for mommy!
